Questions about Ledgantic

What does Ledgantic do?

Ledgantic is a financial consulting firm for businesses. We help companies decide how much cash to keep and how to invest the rest within clear limits, check firms and counterparties before money moves, build cash flow forecasts and payment controls, and prepare financial models for lenders and investors.

Is Ledgantic a regulated investment adviser?

No. We don't give personal investment advice, recommend specific products or manage money. We help businesses set policies, run checks and build forecasts and models. If your plans need a regulated adviser, we'll tell you and help you prepare to choose one.

Who do you work with?

Owner-managed and growing businesses that hold meaningful cash but don't have a full-time treasury team: typically founders, managing directors and finance managers. We don't give personal financial advice to individuals.

Are you taking on new clients?

Yes. Email us with a few lines about your business and what you need, and we'll suggest a time for an introductory consultation.

Services and fees

How much does a project cost?

Every project has a fixed fee, set out in a written proposal before any work starts. The fee depends on the scope, so we quote once we understand what you need, usually after the introductory consultation.

How long does a project take?

Usually between a few working days and six weeks. A check on a single firm or offer takes three to five working days once we have the documents; a cash flow forecast two to three weeks; an investment policy three to four weeks; a financial model three to six. The proposal confirms the timetable, and the biggest factor is how quickly the data is ready.

Do you take commissions or success fees?

No. We take no commissions, referral fees or success fees from anyone, and no percentage of money invested or raised. Our clients' fixed fee is the only money we receive.

Can you tell us which investment to buy?

No. We help you decide how much cash to keep, which types of investment your policy allows and what limits apply, and we check any firm you're considering. Choosing a specific product is your decision, or one for an authorised adviser.

Will you need access to our bank accounts?

No. We never need logins, passwords, security codes or the ability to make payments. We work from statements, exports and reports that you choose to send us.

Checking firms and staying safe

How do I check an investment firm is genuine?

Look it up on the public register of the financial regulator in its country, check that its permissions cover the service it's offering, and confirm that its name, website and phone number match the register. Then call it back on the registered number. Our guide on checking an investment firm has the full steps.

Someone contacted us claiming to be from Ledgantic. Is it real?

We never ask for payments, passwords, security codes or remote access, and we don't cold-call with investment or funding offers. If a message asks for any of these, it isn't from us. Don't reply to it; contact us using the address on our website instead.

What should we do if our company has already paid a suspicious firm?

Call your bank straight away on a number you know, and ask it to try to stop or recall the payment. Then report it to the police or your national fraud reporting service and to the financial regulator. Speed matters: the first hours give the best chance of stopping the money.

Can Ledgantic help us get lost money back?

No. We can't recover money lost to fraud. Be very wary of anyone who offers to get it back for an upfront fee: recovery offers are a common second scam aimed at people who have already lost money. Your bank and the police are the right first contacts.
